"We wanted to take our parents back to an area we love with fond memories and that of course was Fife. We needed a cottage big enough for four, spacious and all the essentials. Sleeping six, we found it in Kilconquhar, a short throw from Elie, Anstruther, even St Andrews and yet peaceful enough to sit on a night and read a book. Two bathrooms/toilets, a dining area more than adequate and of course a big enough kitchen to practice ones favourite pastime! What was there not to like?"

"The interior and the garden are very pleasant. The advert did not make it clear that the cottage is next to a road of fast flowing traffic, and that parking is next to the road, which is dangerous for getting a dog from the car to the cottage. There are no dog walks nearby. The inclusion of the hot tub drew us in, but we were not going to pay an extra £100 to use it. "The property was as expected photos accurate. We had a very enjoyable stay visiting Crail after a 30 year gap. The beds were comfy plenty of hot water and cosy seating areas location was excellent . Lots of seating outside for those sunny days we managed coffee outside one morning . Lovely coastal walks."

"A fantastic location. Very central for visiting just about all of Scotland. The cottage was wonderful. Clean, warm, comfortable and the renovation of an old traditional building was to the highest standard. Our host, Bob, was exceptionally helpful on our arrival and easily contacted if required. Other than the odd wave if we saw him, he left us to enjoy our holiday. Although Abernethy itself has little to offer, there is plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants all within easy reach.
