"Beautiful accommodations, but the access to the apartment is a journey! Parking was also not easy. The place is accessed up a narrow road with tight turns, so you'll need to have a car that is smaller/ good for that. We arrived late in the evening and could not find close street parking. The available spots were all taken. We had to walk about a half mile (.8 km) from where we parked to the place. We dropped our bags off at the end of the road, but even from the closest parking spot, be prepared...

"Das Gute vorweg. Der Anbieter hat auf Bewertungen reagiert und versucht den Zugang zur Wohnung mit Bildern zu beschreiben. Trotzdem ist sie garnicht so einfach zu finden. Wenn man echtes italienisches Ambiente sucht wird man hier fündig. Blevio ist sehr verwinkelt und man muss sich auf mindestens 400m Gepäckschleppen einstellen (wobei das in der Anzeige auch so beschrieben wird). "Spectacular place to stay. Sergio was very accommodating…met us upon arrival to give us a little history of the building, made sure we had everything we needed and went on his way. It’s truly as beautiful as the photos. And what a cool trap door (you’ll have to go and stay to see what I mean ;-). Had a wonderful bathroom, nice bar setup and great open space with panoramic views. You won’t be disappointed "

"The staff were all very friendly and were able to accommodate a late check-in and check-out very smoothly. The space is very spacious, with a large bathroom which had lots of counter space which is rare to find at this price! Definitely recommend staying here if you are in the como area as it is located so close to the port and all the restaurants and shops! Bonus points for having a diffuser attachment on the hairdryer as a curly girl who was in need of one!"

"Le lieu (en haut de la colline) est exceptionnel, le cadre est somptueux. La vue imprenable. La piscine est magnifique. Le soin apporté au cadre, aux espaces extérieurs, les fleurs, les jardins sont un véritable havre de paix. Notre séjour a été superbe. Toutefois, les chambres demandent un bon coup de peinture et d'insonorisation. Et le petit déjeuner pourrait être plus varié (pains et charcuteries toujours les mêmes durant 6 jours). Nonobstant ces remarques sur les chambres et le petit déjeuner, nous comptons bien y revenir pour un plus court séjour comme un week-end de repos sans trop bouger."

"-Room cleaned every day -Staff was friendly -Air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly When too hot you can not reset the gage for the right temperature -the hair dryer was making noise and it was dangerously hot -hygiene, I asked for new tea cup, the cleaner took my cups in bathroom washed and gave it to me. I was shocked, I don’t know what to say. -toilets bowl was clean but the back of the toilet seat yellow poo stains, hairs. And I saw they were cleaning the room and all the new bad sheets were on floor when they making look nice and tidy. -at back of the cafeteria they don’t seems like have a dishwasher, staff was washing up plates and cups a quick job. After seeing all this I don’t feel comfortable eating, or sleeping. So! I asked not to clean my room and I bought my own products to clean surfaces and toilet and bath. I bought my own bed sheet and slept on it, because my skin coming out with small spots. I gave 4 star because staff was nice and welcoming but the main points of hygiene was really missing."

"I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively and stay at some incredible hotels around the world, but I can honestly say that the Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como is the best hotel I’ve ever experienced. The property is absolutely stunning. The setting on Lake Como is breathtaking, the rooms are beautiful, and every corner of the hotel feels peaceful, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. I sat looking at the lake on many occasions and I will never forget the peace that I felt. The service is simply exceptional. Every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay unforgettable. Cesar was fantastic, he greeted me on my arrival and immediately I felt very at home. It was like I had known him for a long time. He really was excellent. It was authentic hospitality at its very best. You paid attention to every detail and somehow always seemed to be one step ahead of anything I needed. It’s rare to leave a hotel already thinking about when you can come back, but that’s exactly how I felt. Thank you to everyone who made my stay so memorable. This was an unforgettable experience, and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I wil definitely be back."

"Great stay everything clean pool was excellent location great staff great rooms with view amazing breakfast very very nice. Pool showers nice touch for checkout day if you prefer to hang around the pool for part of the day, which we did. Drain in shower needed attention. All in all the VALUE for this hotel compared to other lakefront hotels, is unmatched in my opinion."
