"First the bad stuff…There pricing was up there with some bigger chains so expect more from a hotel. I received a room that looked clean-ish, but they hadn’t changed the sheets. Just made the bed again. There was a clear indication that someone had slept in the bed before, plus there was hair by the pillows. "The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast is excellent. I do have just two suggestions I hope can be considered: there is no air conditioning in the room, which made it a bit hot and uncomfortable at times, and there is no refrigerator, so I had to bring some of my items down to the reception."

"WOW! This place is amazing. We did a 2 week road trip and stayed at major cities which are nice, but this place is special, different, and a must. This was our kids' favorite place! The whole experience was very relaxing and refreshing, the hosts are kind and helpful, and overall the feel was like a bed and breakfast. Room was cozy and beds were comfortable. Food was great. The garden and animals made my kids (and us) very happy since they played with them and enjoyed fresh fruit and vegetables (and seeing how things were actually grown). They wanted to stay longer, which our kids rarely say this. Stay here and relax and enjoy nature and great people. "
