The resort is conveniently located right on the beach. The restaurant overlooks the beach making meal times relaxing and peaceful. I highly recommend Villandra Resort and will definitely stay there again."

"Great if you’re looking to save money in Canggu. Big rooms, clean bed to sleep in. AC worked great. Bathroom very old and odd, but you get what you pay for. Perfect for just what we needed, cheap, safe place for a few nights to sleep at in Canggu. "

No brekkie but you’re welcome to use their kitchen or I’d recommend sauntering up the hill to try chef/owner’s place, Somerset. Easy to explore on foot from here - quick walk to the beach. Our last stop of a month on Bali and we’re sorry to leave these beautiful, kind people."

"Great location in the heart of Berewa, Canggu, great service. The deluxe rooms are a great layout and very clean and new but they are on the main road so it is quite noisy with bikes flying by at night. The balconys with pool and sunset views for the superior rooms are so much nicer than a view of the street and I imagine more quiet on that side too. The beds are a bit hard for me but everything else was great so I did enjoy my stay at Tanaka and would come back again."

"The place is in the heart of the city so very convenient if you want that access. Extremely inexpensive but still should be clean. The beds were fine however the bathroom / toilet although rinsed had somewhat of a smell. No HoT water which is something hotel.com should note"

"Terrific place to stay in Ubud, Bali. Everything is good there except you have to walk for 10 minutes from main road since the area is not accessible by cars. Love the breakfast , especially the coconut banana pancake!"

"The property was very tranquil, with a lovely pool, water fountain, lush green gardens and fish pond. beautiful view from balcony. Friendly staff and some cute little dogs :) Only complaint was that there was some water damage and mold under the sink in our room. "

"Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
