"We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. "We had a very relaxing stay at Casa Sira, which is a beautifully restored traditional house with all the modern comforts. The house is well equipped, and tastefully furnished with everything you need, comfortable beds and wi-fi / Tv etc. It is set in the mountains with stunning scenery all around. The nearest town is a short drive away. Lusima is a great host who went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay.with helpful advice on activities and great restaurants. "Lovely peaceful villa with just the sound of the cowbells and the birds. Had everything we wanted. Perfect for our family of 5 and family dog. The owner was really helpful with arranging a vet visit for us to comply with taking a dog abroad and also when the car needed repairing."
