"I wanted something different than the ordinary. I was struck by the photos and descriptions. Even though a wide angle lens was used, but I knew that. The house was nicely furnished with virtually all one could need in the kitchen. My sister and I are both over 70 and the stairs were a bit challenging as they were steep. The WC is on the bottom floor only so keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. But that is very clear in the information. Our hostess was very kind and available!!...

"Nous avons passé un séjour calme et ressourçant. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour vous reposer, c’est l’endroit idéal. La localisation proche de Narbonne et Carcassonne est parfaite. Qun est très attentionnée envers ses locataires : Nous avons été accueillis avec des légumes et fruits du jardin ainsi qu’avec une bouteille de vin ! Seul point non mentionné dans l’annonce : il y a également une chambre d’hôte en plus du gîte donc on peut être amené à partager la piscine avec d’autres personnes."

"We've stayed in many self catering cottages and had a very different experience in this one. On VRBO the gite is advertised as having a lake view, its no where near a lake! After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day.
