Great location in Bloomfield, close to everything. Enough room for everyone and space outside so you didn’t feel cramped. Will definitely be looking to stay again when we go back to visit.
'The Tenant House' is such a cozy farmhouse, really within minutes from Canandaigua. Communication with Beth was super easy as we had a change the number of adults staying for one night. The house was very clean. Beth greeted us when we arrived and even offered fresh vegetables from her garden. The bottles of water were welcomed as the temperature was very hot in July. The hosts provided tower oscillating fans as the house does not have air-conditioning, which did help circulate the air in the upstairs bedroom and on the main floor of the house. We would definitely recommend this property.
The Tenant House is a cute farm house nestled in the beautiful finger lakes region of Bloomfield. It was comfortable, extremely clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were extremely accommodating. We will definitely visit again.
Our host Beth was friendly and communicative. The little farmhouse was lovely! It was clean, comfortable and welcoming. And the farm fresh eggs they left for us were a delicious bonus! What a charming find
Very clean, convenient and orangized. Included cookware and dishes for cooking and eating. Well equipped with everything needed for a country home stay. Quiet, private lot. No noise, horses out the kitchen window, etc. Host was excellent. I will def stay again!
The house was neat and clean. We really only slept there so not much to write about. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. The house did not have air conditioning and we had record heat. The house stayed relatively cool but a little cooler for sleeping would be nice.
This is a charming farm house on a working farm. Loved seeing the horses and walking the grounds. Worked well with a wedding we were in town for. I wish it was known that the master bedroom (with the queen bed) was up a steep flight of steps. Wanted to sit on front porch but the chairs were so dirty you couldn’t sit on them. We loved the added touch of tea bags, coffee, eggs and water. Lots of towels and blankets. We would recommend and stay here again.
Cute quaint tenant house on a farm. Stocked and supplied with anything you need. Fresh eggs provided upon arrival were delicious! Grounds were peaceful and beautiful. The only minor complaints would be that the house gets pretty warm on these summer days without a/c however the fans provided sufficed. Was hoping the house might have laundry but it didn’t. That being said the house is located near beautiful Canandaigua and plenty of gorgeous scenic views and restaurants.
I loved that there were water bottles and fresh eggs available to us. The fans were great (they were as cool as having air conditioning). I might have used the hair dryer that was available because I was getting ready for a wedding, however I couldn't seem to get it running. Some little sample packs of aspirin or ibuprofen may have been nice, and perhaps a full length mirror. Other than that, the beds were comfy, and we felt very safe there. One of the rooms was located in the attic, and I'm not sure that I was aware of that ahead of time, but it worked out fine, it was a very large room and beautifully decorated.
