"No, the room had a musty, moldy smell. I purchased room deoderant to cover the odor as much as possible during our stay. 4 out of 5 light bulbs in the dining area fixture were burned out and 1 was missing from a lamp in the living room. It would be good to have at least 1 sauce pan and a toaster. The living room couch was rock hard. I believe it may be a sleeper sofa, but it would be uncomfortable at best to sleep on. The view is beautiful!!! "

"The Whidbey House was perfect! Beautiful home, comfortable and in a very quiet neighborhood! The hosts were great to deal with! We will definitely come back next time we plan a weekend on Whidbey Island. "

"Very nice property and we very much enjoyed our stay on Whidbey. There were several small things that could’ve made it better but nothing majorly bad. Not that these things are complaints, just things we think should be addressed. 1) Several tv remotes had dead batteries. 2) Kitchen sink faucet hose leaks and sprays everywhere when pulled out. 3) Carpet in master bedroom torn/frayed with large area of tack board exposed; not good with infant crawling around. 4) Thermostat had to be cranked up to 80 to get downstairs warm; should’ve been disclosed as kids room is down there. 5) Smoker on patio is covered with mold on the inside; essentially unusable. 6) Ice maker doesn’t work; had to buy bags of ice. 7) Billiard room too small for a table. Had to open sliding door or contend with walls trying to make some shots; very limited. 8) Portable window fans caked with dust. Didn’t use the gym so, not much to comment there. Over all though we enjoyed the property and would recommend to others. Amazing views of the water and very quiet area. Would like to come back in warmer months to enjoy the outdoors more. "

"Cozy house with very comfortable beds! The sheets and comforters were great. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Converted garage is very cool and was great for a family with kids. We had 10 people and no one felt cramped. Plenty of space! We recommend it! "

"The home was beautiful. Cozy and inviting. Big kitchen, comfortable beds - the bunk bed was full over full and our adult kids were comfortable. Was thankful to have somewhere very close to family for the holidays. We were busy for Christmas - and wished we could have taken advantage of more of the property! It’s a really pretty place!!"
