Cool Cabin

Great location in a little neighborhood in the woods. Quick drive to Boone or Blowing Rock. The cabin has a nice simple layout with decent sized rooms so you don’t feel cramped. Enjoyed having outdoor fire in the fire pit while it was snowing.

Wonderful Thanksgiving!

Met family for Thanksgiving! Grey Fox was centrally located and easy to find. It was quiet and peaceful even thought it was in a lovely neighborhood. Super clean and well stocked.

Beautiful Home and Perfect Location

We came in for a quick holiday with my son, d-in-law, 10 month old grandson and our pups. This home was amazing. Decorated for Christmas, beautiful and well appointed. Didn’t need a thing other than our groceries. We had the best stay and would highly recommend this host

Lovely stay at Grey Fox Cabin! Centrally located between Blowing Rock and Boone so convenient to everything. Saw deer roaming around many days. Nice with 2 king primary rooms, 2 large bathrooms and tvs in both bedrooms! Excellent!

Mountain Getaway

The cabin was better than expected. Appliances were great, all furnishings were comfortable and things like dishes, pots and pans and utensils were plentiful and in good condition. We all enjoyed our entire stay and highly recommend this property if you are visiting the Boone/Blowing Rock area.

Perfect location

Close to both Blowing rock and Boone. Great for two couples, 2 masters with ensuites. Grill, Hot tub, fire place, large deck, fire pit, new appliances and more!

Very comfortable & well stocked

Loved the holiday decor - our home wasn’t even fully decorated yet so it was well appreciated. Very cozy & cute. Well stocked with spices and other cooking needs, s’mores ingredients, and games — didn’t need a thing. It was tough getting down the hill one AM with the car but the Jeep was fine in lowest gear.

Cozy and clean

We enjoyed our stay at the cozy grey fox cabin. The location is perfect, it’s super quite, very clean, and the EV charger was a huge plus for us. Just the short break we needed.

Great little getaway!!

My husband and I came for a few days to visit Grandfather Mountain. This cabin is very close and convenient to everything. Semi- private there are a few other houses around but you still have privacy. Great little place. We would definitely stay again!!

Quiet and Convenient Location

Property is well kept and located in a quiet neighborhood. Access to both Boone and Blowing Rock very convenient. The cabin had every amenity imaginable and was clean and comfortable. Loved the woodsy setting. Our stay was very enjoyable and would return there again on our next visit to Boone area.

Fabulous Cabin

We had a terrific time. The cabin and host were more than we expected. Very spacious, clean and lots of amenities. I highly recommend this cabin. Very close to Boone, Blue Ridge Parkway and other terrific areas to hike and see the Beautiful Parkway.

Excellent and luxurious mountain retreat

We checked in and everything we needed was in the cabin. Beautiful mountain setting, right in the middle of Boone and Blowing Rock, where a short drive and you can be anywhere. Hot tub was awesome, CLEAN and ambient cabin setting. Beds were really comfortable and we will definitely be booking to stay again in the future. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin.
