"It is a historic hotel on the continental divide. It has a lot of history and is convenient to downtown Blowing Rock and other activities in the area. The breakfast were very good. The hotel needs some renovation and the hot water for the room took a while to warm up."

"The cabin was adorable, clean and as pictured! We had a great time and would highly recommend. The only downsides were trash situation was a bit of a pain having to take to another location throughout stay and the fire pit that is pictured isnt in the yard by the house so really wasnt usable for ..."

Blowing Rock has many opportunities to admire the scenery and take pictures. There are many quaint shops and we loved the architecture of the buildings and homes. So many things to see in one trip. We will definitely visit again as soon as possible.

This is a nice place to visit with outlet shopping and plenty of dining options. It is 15 - 45 minutes to all 3 winter resorts that offer skiing, ice skating and snow tubing.

It is the gateway to the rest of the mountain towns in the area, such as Boone or Banner Elk. The Green Park Inn and Blowing Rock saves us 30-ish minutes both ways, making this a great one-night destination.
