You feel like you're in someone's house as opposed in a pousada. There's definitely better options for the cost of it. The overnight guy was very nice but one ladie in the day time was rough, from my room I could hear they talking on their phone, loud. Never again 😒. "

Check in was easy and the guy on reception very friendly. Room was a good size and clean with air conditioning.

"the houses were looking lovely on the internet and the house itself was clean and well maintained but it is more a hotel of value of 200 /300 reales per night. no more. the bed was cheap and terrible. the sheets were as thin as they could possible be and we didn't feel comfortable when we entered the room and found blood spatters on the wall and curtains. this doesn't fill one with confidence "

The food was mind blowing with great chefs for breakfast and dinner. we saw a turtle swimming by one morning while having breakfast !
The beach located close to the resort is wonderful and there are some great hikes to the main town and waterfalls.

"This is a lovely small hotel. At first I thought I was missing out by not being in the town, but this was SOOO much better - quiet, beautiful, with hiking and beaches near by. They went out of their way to be helpful (rescuing me when I got lost on a hike). The only small suggestion I would make is that they should allow guests to fill up water bottle with their filtered water to save on unnecessarily using plastic bottles (or at least sell large bottles of water). "This place is incredible. Very spacious, well kept and maintained and the view is to die for. Waking up to the many species of birds calling against the crashing of the waves is something you don’t forget soon nor can you get enough of. We didn’t want for anything thanks to Jose and getting delicious food cooked by Maritza, who’s a complete sweetheart, just rounded everything off and was icing on the cake.Would love to come back here next time we visit.
