Situated on the shore of Cherry Lake, this charming cabin is ideal for a fun-filled family vacation in North Georgia. The open floor plan makes it easy for everyone to spend time together, while the wood-burning fireplace in the living area keeps the whole place warm and toasty. This home also includes a full kitchen plus an adjacent dining area where you can tuck into home-cooked meals or play a few board games. Outside, relax in comfort inside the screened-in porch, soak away your cares in your private hot tub, or meet up by the lakeside firepit and watch the stars come out overhead.

Cast a line or swim off your private dock, kayak or canoes on calm water, or hop on the Benton MacKaye Trail and head out on a magical mountain hike! When it's time to do some shopping or you find yourself craving some good, old-fashioned Southern cooking, take a trip into downtown Blue Ridge, just a little over six miles up the road, where you'll also find plenty of attractions including the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, Blue Ridge Adventure Park, and the historic Swan Drive-In movie theater.

Heaven on Earth

The drive in is amazing, getting in the cabin was a breeze, the cabin itself was nice and clean. Decorated extremely well and made you feel at home. The only issue was the stove, seemed new, but was improperly installed, never changed over to LP from the natural gas setup it comes with, the manager was made aware and promised to have it fixed, it's dangerous otherwise and can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning. They did discount our stay out of not being able to use the stove/oven. The hot tub was partially functional as well. Everything else went great, there's definitely fish in the lake. There's a ton of steep stairs, so plan accordingly if you have bad knees. All in all, we will most definitely be back. Thank you again!

Living in a postcard

Sitting on the back porch overlooking the lake was like being in a postcard. So beautiful and peaceful. The property is situated perfectly between Blue Ridge and Ellijay, so plenty to do on and off site. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I booked this trip with our best friends. The cabin was clean and cozy. The view from both the deck and the dock of the small lake is very peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped. It’s close to shopping, restaurants and attractions. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect little getaway!!

Loved the cabin!!! Loved being able to enjoy the water, fishing, kayaking, hiking, the drive to the cabin, being able to enjoy the quiet and outdoors! Went hiking to a waterfall and had a great time with my family!! I got to enjoy time with my adult children that we don’t get very often. Board games were provided. Everything was perfect!!

A bit shoddy

Overall the location was lovely. Several things were not in working order: there was a leak in the downstairs bedroom when it rained; the toaster was broken; the hot tub was dirty; the dishwasher leaked. The kitchen was missing essential items for oven cooking like cookie sheet, large baking pan, etc. so making your own meals may be a bit difficult. The upstairs bedroom got exceedingly warmer than downstairs, so be prepared to leave windows open a bit at night if you are staying during cool weather periods. Overall I’d say this place was pretty decent. Loved the keurig coffee maker. The view of the lake was very nice. It was mostly quiet except times the fumigator was running.

Great get away

Would love to go back in warm weather and take adavantge of the lake. I did get to sit out on the doc for a bit. Weather was just a bit too chilly to take a kayack out but will totally do that. Super clean, snack basket was a great touch. I didn't do much cooking but kitchen has everything you need. If you do cook, take some containers or zip lock baggies for left overs. Roads getting up to the cabin off the main road made me a bit nervous with all the curves but not really anything you can do when you are climbing a mountain. I arrived after sunset, so I suggest arriving in daylight. Easier to follow directions and see where you are going.
