This was an excellent stay for us to enjoy with family! Highly recommend this property! Communication with property manager was also excellent! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Everything about the property was described perfectly. The house was very roomy and clean. It is a short ride to Blue Ridge and about 30 min. to Ellijay. Uday, our host, was awesome!! He checked on us when we arrived and made sure everything perfect. We would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our time here and our host was more than accommodating. The house has porches everywhere with two fire pits and lots of places to relax, including the hot tub. The creek was picturesque and the neighbors feed the deer everyday, so you always see them. The location is convenient to downtown Blue Ridge and restaurants. We totally recommend this rental to everyone.
We had an amazing time here. The space was clean and welcoming, and we felt very safe. Uday was awesome - available to answer questions and quickly helped us when we locked ourselves out. I highly recommend this cabin, it’s beautiful, cozy, spacious, and the surrounding area is lovely.
The rental was very modern with a lot of open a space. The kitchen was great for preparing large meals and having multiple people in at once. The fire pit next to the house was stocked with plenty of wood and had around 10 chairs. The host was what made this place special. His communication was top notch! Wish all host were as good as he is. Planning on coming back next year.
The house is neat and cozy, well set up for families and for people who can’t use stairs. The fire pit outside the master bedroom is great for people who can’t get down to the one by the creek. This is a pet friendly property so if you have pet dander allergies, be aware. Nice views from the windows. Easy to find and easy access to the main road.
The house was very clean. Communication with the property manager was very good. He was always available to answer questions.
I would suggest that the grass be mowed before each renter arrives and the dog poop be picked up. Also, there is now a house being built next to the property that is not shown in the current picture so home is not as secluded as we wanted.
The property is beautiful! The house is beautiful and lots of space! The hot tube is very nice! Only issue we had was only one set of jets would turn on. The property manager was very helpful. He sent the cleaner out to try and fix it. The property manager answered any questions we had about the property very quickly! Very happy overall with our 3 night stay!
After 3 spine/neurosurgeries that failed, I needed a reprieve from the world and immerse myself in nature. Uday’s home fit the bill perfectly! The house was spotless and welcoming, and everything we needed was right there at the house. The location was easy to get to for this flatlander, and was close to all attractions we wanted to see. Uday is a spectacular host and responded quickly to any questions. I would not hesitate to recommend Uday and his lovely home to anyone needing a reprieve from the stressors of life. Thank you Uday for an amazing experience!

Things to know
Overall our stay was great. Just a couple things to note . The roads are paved except the last one which is gravel and needs some leveling or grating. If you have a low car it will drag. Also the driveway is very steep so again a low vehicle will drag especially at the bottom. Bring towels and especially washcloths because there is only 9 towels total so you will have to wash daily and there was absolutely no washcloths which I think is ridiculous. We had to go buy washcloths. If you are planning to cook bring pots because there is only a small pot and a few skillets. I had to purchase a pot so that we could cook. There are a few repairs needed also. The freezer door handle was broken and freezer was dirty. There is loose tiles in kitchen and loose boards on decks. I was disappointed that the description says breathtaking mountain views which isnt accurate. If you are wanting a cabin in the mountains you may want to consider other options. One plus is that you are really close to Mercier Orchards which we loved. It was also very quiet and peaceful. We didn’t let the few disappointments stop us from having a great family vacation. Our host U-day was great
Loved the way the property was tucked in at the end of the road, plenty of room for all the family. Exactly half way between Mccaysville and Blue Ridge, lots of deer and wildlife to see while coming and going on our adventures. The creek down the hill is amazing to just sit and listen to, and to put your feet in and cool off. The water is cold, even in late summer. Very cool and friendly neighbors as well. We had a wonderful visit. Thanks again !!
The property was really beautiful.
Some disappointments:
Property not as secluded as we thought or we wouldnt have brought the dog. Property right next door had 3 dogs and my dog isnt great w some other dogs. Great neighbors tho I must say.
Very BIG leak in one of the bedroom ceilings downstairs - kind of unacceptable.
Not enough towels/washclothes (especially with the leak)
Not enough kitchen supplies (pots/pans/lids/colander/ice cube trays/things I cant think of right now)
Pool table was not the best/not as nice as pictured (was a big deciding factor in booking)
Broken door handles/locks/latches
Suggestions
Baby Gait- Stairs are steep and nothing there to block them off from babies or old dogs.
Do Not open the windows unless you like flies (no screens) which sucked cuz the weather was so perfect.
BYOBooze as this is a DRY county.. beer and wine only friends.
Great Marina north at Permission Lake to rent boats and knee board or fish
Great coffee maker and washer/dryer
Great stove and grill
Supplied plenty of fire wood (keep it dry ;)
Deer were so nice to watch when sitting by the fire in the evenings
Blue ridge was cute everything closes by 8 or earlier - Hampshire on main street was amazing food was so good and they have a full bar. Great service
Uday was a spectacular host and was always available to answer questions and help in any way he could. Thank you.
Overall I would not stay here again.. i want a dry bedroom and some liquor
Loved the location of this property. Very charming, secluded private drive by the creek. Kids loved playing out in the large field down by the creek. Loved the use of the firepits and hot tub at night. Plenty of space for multiple guests, and an extra bonus that we could bring our dogs. The host was very accommodating, communicative, and checked in with us while we were there to make sure everything was OK. Will definitely stay again
