Our family had a great time! We enjoyed the pickleball court and hot tub. Just a short distance to a lot of activities but no need to leave the property if you’re just looking to relax.

The view was amazing. Really loved sitting out there on the porch just enjoying the view. Everyone enjoyed playing all the outdoor activities and the ping pong table. Very convenient to the local Walmart which was great.

Group of 7 ages 17-53. Plenty of room for everyone and only 2 of us shared a bed. Views are amazing, serene. We enjoyed the pickle ball court, corn hole and went to a nearby lake - so gorgeous. The nearby town of Blue Ridge is quaint with great shopping (my wife says) and good restaurant options. Only problem was no propane for the grill, we notified the host and had 2 full containers within the hour. We would definitely come back. Had great memories playing games around the table, playing ping pong, pickle ball and corn hole. Thanks for making your home available for us to rent.

We loved the entire house but spent endless hours on the porch whether sunny or cloudy or rainjng.just hanging out. The kitchen was perfect for all of our meals. The loft was perfect size for movies, naps and just chatting it up. The bedrooms were wonderful and the bathrooms met all needs. We needed not one thing! Plenty of towels, usb ports in each room, well equipped kitchen with a k cup and ground coffee maker! Always love Merceirs but didnt leave for one other thing! Great friends, great company and great cabin!

We were looking for a room with a view and beautiful weather. We got both! We enjoyed the location, which was only a few minutes from the nearest town. The setup of the rooms was perfect for our family get together. I enjoyed the fact that I was in communication with Brandon from start to finish. He was very helpful.
But like all VRBO's we visited there are pro's and con's. The con's for us were that the housekeeping didn't seem up to par. The floors were dirty when we got in, along with all the porch areas. We had to wipe everything down before using. The screening had holes in them so we couldn't sit without getting bitten by mosquitos. If you want to shoot hoops or play pickleball expect to get a good workout chasing the balls down a very steep hill. More fencing would've helped out. lol
Other than these we enjoyed our stay and had a great time catching up with family. Brandon & Tiffancy are great Hosts.

I'm not one for reviews, but I try to think of it as trying to give a help to the next person. Photos don't match reality.I think if the place shared accurate images of things not quite right or listed out the issues that would make this review highlighting concerns not needed. The not so luxury list: 1. Upstairs bedroom has a lady bug infestation 2. Sheets have a pee or what looks like some other stain3. Hot tub… when was the last time it was changed? We couldn’t use it. It was just that bad.4. Ping Pong table, could not use net broken. 5. Basement bedroom doesn’t get warm enough. We made it work.6. No way to lock door going to garage from inside, which puts kids vulnerable if someone got into the garage… Why would there be no way to deadbolt from the inside. Major safety flaw in the mountains. 7. TV in basement didn’t connect to WiFi8. Closet in main floor bedroom missing a knob Silly thing, but lots of these types of flaws9. Basement bedroom bathroom can’t lock or rather stays locked but doesn’t work, you can still open. What was good?1. Outdoor fire pit2. Swing seat on porch3. Fridge was newI think if it was advertised as just a basic cabin in the mountains and not luxury then it could be good. Expectations and high cost just don't match the word "luxury". It's more of a spot that if your aunt and uncle owned and said you can stay for free just pay the cleaning fee it would be a good deal. Place just has to get honest with what it is.
