"Rooms are clean. Has balcony with 2 chairs, ours was view of parking lot but nice to get outside. Close to most of what we wanted to day. Everyone was very nice and accommodating."

"We visit this property every few years and the only thing that we didn’t like this time was the exercise room had no working equipment. The pools and hot tubs were taken by the same people for two days. There ARE BEARS NEAR AND ON THIS PROPERTY SO BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS AT ALL TIMES. I was actually chased by one while my husband and I were enjoying the stream and taking pictures in front of the hotel. The cleaning staff do NOT speak English but the front desk staff are very helpful and friendly and DO speak English. We would love to have some more time at Edgewater but unless we could get some kind of coupon or a discount stay, I don’t think we can afford it in this economy anytime soon. "

"Enjoyed our quick getaway for my husband’s birthday. The dinning options were great. Loved the valet parking and bellhop for the convenience and it was all included just tips of course don’t forget to top . The staff were all very helpful even tho I had booked through Expedia I have found that some establishments don’t treat you the same as when you book through another site but they were all very accommodating . The pool area was very nice and I seen lots of families with kids and could understand why they had chosen a Casino for its budget and amenities even with kids . It does make a difference with what dates you are reserving there wasn’t a lot going on that weekend but they also have some comedy shows that you can attend for a very reasonable prices on tickets. "

"Our stay was excellent. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary. The location was right downtown, so we were in walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was a little limited but it was ok. We even so a live bear that comes around at night (scary but cool)."

"The property was clean, the building was relatively new. The location was great right in the center of downtown Gatlinburg within walking distance of everything. The hotel is also close to the Biltmore site in Asheville North Carolina, we took the one and a half hour drive over to the estate. Easy trip with scenic mountain views the whole way. The staff was courteous and professional. The breakfast was marginal but it was free and plentiful. The clientele were well behaved, no hassles or concerns. The facility was peaceful and quiet, parking was tight but plentiful. We definitely enjoyed our stay."
