"Great location and one of the nicest rooms We Had during our three weeks in Wales."

"We had a fantastic stay, the room was very nice, food was delicious and all the staff was very friendly - Bonus for us, we could converse in Welsh with them."

"The property was located conveniently to the sites and tours I planned. The breakfast was delicious; the host, wonderful."

"Beautiful location"

"Conveniently located just off main road - the A40 between Fishguard and Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire, west Wales. Off-street Hotel car park. Very friendly and efficient staff. Located in a pretty valley with rock formations and a wooded gorge. Ideal for the Irish ferry between Fishguard and Rosslare in Ireland. I had a comfortable, clean, well-appointed room. Would book to stay there again."

"This is a no frills hotel, but the location is great. It is just a short walk from the train station and it is situated very close to the Pembrokeshire Trails. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the English breakfast was good."

"IT WAS OK FOR 1 NIGHT"

"Wonderful stay…..Excellent introduction with many recommendations of walks and beaches etc to visit. So many lovely walks to go on without having to do too many miles in the car. Really appreciated the lovely welcome gifts. Felt a home from home. Will definitely come back.THANK YOU…"

"We feel so welcomed and really the host was very kind and humble and supportive. Lovely wonderful peaceful place ."

"Situated on a very quiet road . Steep steps to mezzanine bedroom. Very comfortably furnished and well equipped. Stylish with attractive garden. Enjoyed our stay."

"Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted. Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us. Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained....

"Properly was nice and central to the town. Activities in walking and driving distance. Only downside is they dont want dogs upstairs but do not provide a gate on the stairs. Having to make a makeshift block not easy."

"We couldn't lock the front door all week! The key would not turn. We tried to contact the host but never heard from them. This made the holiday very stressful. The tv did it work either which was annoying. The water pressure in the ensuite shower was really poor making it unusable. The cottage could be so lovely but it feels uncared for and the owner is impossible to contact."
