The breakfast server would not seat us at the window, even though that space was not occupied, even after we left.
She never once checked on us during the meal and I had to go in search of her for some jam.
We had the misfortune of having a room almost above the live entertainment, and this boomed into our room for two hours.
The television set did not work, even though a helpful young woman from the front desk tried to get it operational.
Great experience all around. From check in by Sherry, our Carriage room and bathroom was spotless and modern. The bed was amazing. The room was quiet and welcoming. Onto drinks and dinner at the bar, again brilliant service by Sherry. Food was excellent. Met Jamie the owner who kindly set us up for after dinner drinks at the bar in the soon to open new lounge where we watched the World Series game on the big screen tv. Again very hospitable host, thank you Jamie! Breakfast the following morning in the restaurant was very good and Delilah took great care of us. All in all a great find and highly recommended!
Very charming little hotel in a great little town. The fireplace and large tub were lovely.

We were very disappointed our preferred room was changed without notice to a room that was not accessible for taking a shower or bath. The room was cold and not cozy- except for the bed/ and was situated close to the bar which offered music until midnight. Breakfast was delayed when the chef was late but the food was excellent. Lovely street for shopping and walking.
Most of the staff (servers)were very helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Had to wait almost an hour to get into our room even though it was ready and it was after the check in time. They did apologize and offered us a free drink for our inconvenience. Breakfast omelet price was very misleading. It was advertised as a vegetable omelet with a list of ingredients. Price $20.00. The server asked me to pick 3 ingredients off the list that I wanted in my omelet, which I did. When the bill came, I was charged $3 for each ingredient, so $9.00 which brought the cost of the omelet to $29.00. Wow, $20.00 for 2 fried eggs plus another $9.00 for about 1/4 cup total of veggies,

The property was lovely, oddly I stayed in the same room a year ago - and blinds broke, I found that odd that they were still broke - for cost, think those small details should be looked at.
The front desk staff wonderful, restaurant for dinner was excellent, housekeeper was so helpful - overall, definitely would come back, think I'll switch up from room 7 :)

Love the area. The room was tired. Poor lighting. Didn’t have a nightstand on each side of the bed
Bayfield is like a mini version of Niagara on the Lake. Numerous clothing stores, art gallery, restaurants but missed the kitchen store and Christmas store that I recall from a previous visit many years ago. Great golfing nearby which is the primary reason we went. As seniors would have preferred walk in shower. Tub was a little scary, no grab bars. Overall, enjoyed our visit.
