"I was quite disappointed with this accommodation. We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space. Instead as the sun went down, we were greeted by a guy with a flashlight which seemed to be telling us he was the night guard and told us to yell his name if we heard anything. "We had a lovely stay in Selvista! The location was perfect, close to so many great activities on Ometepe. The property itself is beautiful, with amazing views and peaceful surroundings. Everything was clean and well taken care of, and the staff was very warm and welcoming. The food was also really good, we felt well taken care of the whole time. Definitely a spot we’d recommend to anyone visiting the island!"

"We stayed at the Bistro Estrada this past weekend. Our stay was wonderful from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with fresh juice and big smiles. Our room was perfect, very clean adorable. The bistro area is very pretty and quaint. Our server at breakfast (I didn't get her name) greeted us every morning with a big smile. She was very friendly. We also had drinks at the bar one night and the waitstaff there were so friendly. The employees really go out of their way to make you feel special."
