Overall the stay was great! We slept great in the very comfortable bed, loved the design and style of the house and felt very much at home with the kitchen being fully loaded with whatever we needed. The super well equipped kitchen was one of our friends most favorite part as he is a chef. The rooms are very comfortable and plenty of room to spread out. Our entire experience was a delight. We attended Pendelton Roundup. It was a ways away but very easy travel.
There's a lot of empty space in eastern Oregon. Boardman was a pleasant place to take a break. It's a tiny town and not near any of the bridges iver the Columbia but it felt safer than other communities we drove through on the way.
We were passing through, but given more time we would eat at the cute pizza place within walking distance, and spend more time walking on the shoreline.
They have a nice riverfront park very close.
This hotel is normally one of our favorites, very quiet, clean comfortable rooms, so my not -so- positive review is directed at staff more than anything!
