"It was conveniently located, clean, and friendly. Very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The food trucks and Subway next to the hotel was a plus. Also I have a service Dog and they were very understanding as well as having a nice area to walk my dog for bathroom breaks."

There's a lot of empty space in eastern Oregon. Boardman was a pleasant place to take a break. It's a tiny town and not near any of the bridges iver the Columbia but it felt safer than other communities we drove through on the way.

We were passing through, but given more time we would eat at the cute pizza place within walking distance, and spend more time walking on the shoreline.
