" Our recent two-night stay at this lakeside cottage was exceptionally relaxing, and we would strongly consider a return visit, especially during the summer season to enjoy the local cruises. View from the large windows facing the lake was amazing. The property is situated in a beautiful scenic area, offering immediate access to the lake and numerous excellent walking trails. The opportunity to sit outdoors and enjoy the fresh air was a major highlight of our trip. While the weather was mostly excellent, we unfortunately missed our last morning outside due to rain. The cottage itself was very clean, spacious, and fully equipped, which significantly contributed to a comfortable stay. Furthermore, the check-in process was seamless, thanks to the clear and kind assistance provided by Bryan. While our overall experience was very positive, there were a few minor aspects that could be improved: 1. Linens: The quality of the linens was adequate, but they appeared wrinkled. 2. Basic Supplies: We noted the absence of essential toiletries, specifically shampoo and conditioner in the washrooms. These supplies would have enhanced guest experience. 3.The requirement of a comprehensive cleaning requirement checklist was a last minute scramble for us before 10 am departure. We had not paid attention to this checklist prior to that."

"This property is exactly as advertised…spacious, very clean, above average well equipped kitchen, bathrooms and living area. Spent Thanksgiving weekend with family plus dogs packed with beach walking, hiking (your first stop should be the Bruce Park Visitors Centre..loads of great info as does the Singing Sands Beach centre directly next door to the property). Excellent location…awesome beach…spectacular sunsets, sunrises, stargazing. The Bruce Peninsula is an Ontario jewel with so much to do here..this is a perfect place to use as a base to explore the area. The host is responsive and attentive. It was a great pleasure staying at this lovely upscale cottage."

"An Absolutely Magical Stargazing Retreat!We had an incredible stay at this cottage and cannot recommend it enough.The location is ideal—a very manageable and scenic 4-hour drive from the GTA, making it a perfect getaway. Blake and Julie were great hosts, responses were very quick.Tobermory is a lovely little town with friendly people.The cottage itself was clean and the beds and sofa were all comfortable.The private lakefront backyard, with a pier, is the true star of the property. It's spacious, perfectly maintained, and is extremely private.Waking up to that serene lake view with our morning coffee was just as wonderful as the stargazing at night. We can confirm you can clearly see the Milky Way without any equipment. If you are interested in Astrophotography, you are in for a treat.We were even lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights this 2025 Sept.
