"The Stone House, lovingly owned by Mark and Sharon was a step back in time. The stone structure, while I suspect it was built many years ago still had all of the modern conveniences you would want.This well appointed home was set in the mountains and we were able to step out of modern chaos and truly relax. "Wonderful place and infrastructure. We felt very comfortable there. Because it invites to stay, I wish, the kitchen would have been better equiped. The vegetarian breakfast could be a bit more balanced. Maybe an egg to boil or some cheese."

"We had such a lovely time at the house on top of the hill. Everything was even better than in the pictures and our host was so kind and helpful. I would recommend this Wonderfull place absolutely if you like to be surrounded by nature and tranquility and nice towns and beaches nearby."

The house provides the ideal base for activities like surfing or just relaxing and unwinding with its stunning view.The location is very quiet, which we enjoyed a lot, being used to a big city like Berlin. The house itself is charming, built and decorated with love and style. The attention to detail creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Everything was clean and well-maintained. In Portugal, in the Algarve, Pretty Villa in Monchique, With Private Pool,

10/10 Excellent

"The place was fantastic and quaint! A nice drive up the mountain from monchique, the property manager was fantastic. She took her time to walk us through the property and show us around. It was the exact quiet get away we needed, with beautiful restaurants within 3-10 minutes away. The driveway in is definitely narrow, we had a 9 seater van, so we opted to park atop the driveway as the house is at the bottom of a hairpin turn after a steep hill.Other things to note is the house is built into the side of a mountain and is definitely old. Take care when cleaning after cooking. At no fault of the hosts, considering the style of dwelling there were some ants. But it really wasn’t a bother. Simply comes down to personal cleanliness! Netflix or prime did not work on the tv as it is a bit out dated, there were some English channels that had movies on but again it won’t reflect my review as the reality is our time was mostly spent exploring the region. I would book this accommodation again "
