"I’m afraid I was misled by the “excellent’ reviews for this property by previous reviewing guests. I am admittedly somewhat spoiled by having had the opportunity to stay at primarily very nice properties in my life, so was quite disappointed to find that there was no phone number I could use to confirm my reservation prior to arrival. However, my disappointment turned to disapproval when I found no telephone in the room with which to contact the front desk. Other basic disappointments/disapprovals: only one trash receptacle for the room and bathroom; no facial tissue provided, so required to use toilet tissue for all purposes; window-type A/C & heating unit was quite loud; no luggage rack provided."

"We stayed at this property for the second time with our dogs, and once again we had a wonderful experience. It was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary—peaceful, scenic, and conveniently located near Fancy Gap and Mt. Airy. The cabin is cute, comfortable, and well-equipped with plenty of amenities. The surrounding property is beautiful and offers easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. And as always, the hot tub was our favorite part."

"The cabin was great. We were there for a wedding that was close by and wish we could have stayed longer and done more stuff in the area. The cabin was so quiet and comfortable we slept the greatest in two nights then we've slept in a long time. Thank you for sharing your cabin."
