"This is an EXCELLENT place to stay. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Marta was great host and suggested places to eat and did the reservation for us. Under no circumstance miss seeing the breakfast area, with glass floors where you can see the water from the canal flowing under. The building used to be a flour processing factory. The water drove the flour mill. Historic pieces of the mill factory can be seen in the breakfast room. You will not be disappointed."

"Staff was super helpful.this is restored building w 3 stories and elevator. Very nicely finished! Located very centrally for walks. Rooms and entire building has exposed wood beams and brick walls which makes very cozy. A real jewel of a boutique hotel. I would come back to it for sure. Only two things I think they need to take care of: Fixing their card reader for the credit card deposit (it is not setup properly) and they need to fix the water damage on the inside of Room 302 bathroom. Otherwise, a perfect stay. Ah, read the price list before consuming from the minibar. But the beer is well priced!"

"This is a very nice property in Peñafiel, centrally located in the Ribera del Duero area Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay The only thing I didn’t like is the mattress was very hard and it’s very uncomfortable, it’s like sleeping on the floor Still I recommend this hotel"

"We loved the hot tub and were greeted warmly by our kind hostess. She even found two fans and allowed us to take the umbrella on an outing. The only reason we do not give 5 stars is because of extra fees charged for 10 people even though there were only six of us and the need for more cooking utensils and things like salt and pepper. The place was very clean and comfortable even in the very hot weather we did not need air conditioning. The local pool would have been more fun if we had know we needed bathing caps and none are sold in town."

"This charming hotel offers comfortable rooms and social areas. The staff/ owners are helpful, friendly, and always available. I love that we had access to a kitchen with a grocery store right next door. The hotel is easy to find and convenient for exploring locally. I felt both fancy and at home at this hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone."

"Our stay at Finca Valdobar was absolutely exceptional and one of the highlights of our trip through Spain. The property is beautiful, spotless, peaceful, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It offers the perfect combination of comfort, privacy, and relaxation while being ideally located near Peñafiel and the renowned wineries of Ribera del Duero. As a family traveling with a child, one of the things we appreciated most was the sense of safety throughout the property. The outdoor spaces are spacious, well maintained, and perfect for families. We felt completely at ease allowing our son to enjoy the grounds while we relaxed and took in the beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere is quiet, private, and welcoming, making it an ideal place to disconnect and enjoy quality time together. A special thank you to Félix, whose hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly and took the time to explain every detail about the property and the area. He provided excellent recommendations, answered all our questions, and was always available whenever we needed assistance. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for his guests were evident throughout our stay. As an added surprise, he even gave us a thoughtful welcome gift, a gesture that made us feel especially appreciated. Everything exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Finca Valdobar and hope to return in the future."
