Staff was cordial and helpful, nice view of the ocean, close to the center of Bodrum . Wish more of the staff understood English but the staff was helpful and so it wasn’t an issue.

Needs some tlc

Although we enjoyed our stay very much, the rooms and hotel itself could definitely do with some tlc. On arrival, the safe and fridge in our room were not working. The safe did get sorted but nothing was done about the fridge. The hairdryer in one of the bathrooms had wires showing. The bed was very comfortable. The staff around the pool and in the evening at reception were very helpful and friendly.

Our third stay here and it never disappoints. The view is amazing. Beautiful grounds and spacious rooms. Delicious breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Feels like a luxury hotel but at an affordable price.

The cleaning of the rooms where outstanding, so good and all the staff at the pool and breakfast where so friendly. But the front desk staff did not even give us a smile during the whole stay.

The hotel is very nicely built with two pools, beautiful gardens, lounge area, bar. Quiet area, 600m from seaside, steep ascent. Fantastic view over bodrum. Personnel is friendly and helpful. We recommend it!

Nice base for our three day stay in Bodrum.

Really nice hotel with great views, a nice pool and infinity pool and comfortable spacious rooms. Prices in the bar and restaurant are a bit expensive compared to restaurants in the town, but quality was good. It is at the top of a short but steep hill, so that may put some people off. Most of the staff were really nice and helpful which is always a plus.

A great hotel just off the city centre

The Manastir is a good option that is close to the city center of Bodrum without necessarily all the problems with the noise and traffic. The breakfast is quite good, and the pools quite conveniently located to the rooms, which are cool and comfortable. The view is quite good, especially at dinner. However, the climb up and down the hill can get to you, and you may find yourself calling up taxis to get home at night.

Amazing view and fascility but staff does not speak English enough. Hard to communicate. Ok breakfast. Be ready to walk down and uphill to get to the town main area . Not very walkable.

Beautiful view

Hotel was very clean. Was dissapointed that we were not given a twin room as requested this twice on an email. The room we had did have a wonderful view of the harbour and castle. Whilst the breakfast was good there were no variations on the eggs only hard boiled each day. Waiting staff and pool staff were very friendly and attentive. Shame the reception staff weren't the same !. Top tip... get a taxi into and out of town as the walk is extremely dusty and dirty and perilous !

Beautiful hotel and great staff

At arrival The reception staff was very helpful and Nice. The hotel area is beautiful and They had a parking area. Breakfast is served from 7-11, and that was Nice for us. Our room had an horrible shower. After adjusted it changed from cold, to hot water, and back, several times during The shower. So you kinda needed to on guard. Also The showemount is placed in a very strange position. Besides that we Found The staff very Nice, The hotel is beautiful with good food, and all in all a good experience.

As many reviews have stated the positives are that the view from the hotels is incredible and the price is competitive. The negatives are the service which is horrible the staff is totally unprofessional and do not care at all about customers' satisfaction especially those working in the reception. Zero customers oriented. the location over the hill although not far away from the center. However, you need to take a taxi which are available in front of the hotel

It goes back to the saying “you get what you paid for”. The staff are very friendly and the views are great. However, the rooms are terrible and outdated. When I first checked in I had to move rooms 2 twice due to sewage smell as well as dead bugs over the bed. Once I got situated I still noticed bugs in every corner. The bed is extremely uncomfortable and the water in the bathroom couldn’t stay on the same temperature.
