All the staff are incredibly kind and courteous. Airport transit was flawless, and very easy. Stayed in the Samaan Suite. Bed was comfortable. Had room service every night, so the food is definitely reliable, they also ask about dietary restrictions at check in, and were happy to make dishes according to our needs. We enjoy so much Hanoi, the hotel has an excellent location, the staff is very nice and helpful. Many shops and restaurants around, everything is a walking distance. We will stay there again.

Uma Mona all restaurants workers were amazing

This was my 3rd trip to Maldives and this was my best experience yet. I loved the fact that the resort was adult only. That was great especially since I am in education. Made the extended weekend seem like a real holiday. The supreme sunset villa was an excellent choice. The only issue is the sun set happened on the opposite side of the villa, so we could not see it. Good for a stay.

Like many people staying over in the Male area, we arrived on a flight in the late evening and needed a place to stay before we flew to the main resort we had booked for our vacation in the Maldives. We arranged pick up and drop off with the hotel ahead of time and they were easy to locate at the arrivals area of the airport. Check-in was very efficient, which we appreciated. First, this hotel is the best kept secret. Somerset ranks number one in my book. It is the only hotel I would stay in when in Male. The hotel's rating is four stars but overall it's a five star. Not in the best of locations (small street) but it's located next to everything you need. I was treated like valuable customer by all the staff including the great restaurant next door. The food was excellent, people friendly and they truly find pleasure in giving their guest amazing service.

Amazing staff: Su, Ana, Sofi, Salma, and Masaudin. They were so helpful, friendly, and professional. The location was great and the room was very clean. Would stay here again.

This place was awesome! I arrived early in the morning, they let me check in no problem. The room was clean, comfortable, and great AC. Everyone was incredibly nice and accommodating. Cool room structure almost apartment style. Your own private room, bathroom, desk, etc. but also an outer area you share with one other room that has a kitchenette, and larger sitting room. I liked the location. Felt very safe, and fun to walk around. Very clean, comfortable, and had great staff.

We stayed one week in the "Super Cute" two-bedroom suite. The rooms were high quality, comfortable, and immaculate. The staff (housekeeping, front desk, restaurant, and excursion) were all fantastic and detail-oriented. This hotel is located just 15-20 mins by boat from the airport. The island is small enough to be intimate but large enough to go for a long good walk. And if you don't feel like walking they have golf carts to shuttle you around! I like that we had a many dinning options, but I will say I was a bit disappointed with both fine dining restaurants. The service is great, but the food in terms of taste is not in line with what you pay. I do think both Baan Thai and Sea salt could be a bit better. ...

Great hotel!

Kurumba was just amazing. From the check-in process to checking out, everything was flawless. They made the speedboat from the airport effortless. They greeted us with delectable coconut sherbet. The activities they had were awesome- from the Maldivian cooking class with Ibrahim (which includes a free lunch!) to the Back of the House Tour to the Snorkeling Lesson, we had a blast! Our honeymoon adventure with Ocean Grande was great, had really good time. Staff was very caring always there to comfort you with all possible means. Never had that kind of stay in any of US hotels that I went to in this limited budget. I should here mention Sudhar (Manager) and Anandhu (house keeping) made our stay of week so special, can not forget it. I have captured most of those wonderful memories. Nice stay prior to our morning flight. Airport transfer was via taxi and was included in the rate. The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was fabulous, better than the fancy resort we had just come from. Thomas, the owner of the hotel, was personable and friendly and we enjoyed our conversations. Would definitely stay again.
