"Great place to spend some private enjoyment and fun with friendly staff"

"Beautiful older palatial property in an area surrounded by shopping and historical buildings. Room was stocked with everything needed and very clean. Modern bathroom, plenty of closet space, elevator. Beautiful lobby with staircase was worth taking pictures. Wonderful breakfast service."

"This hotel is the perfect location to everything! Trains only 12 min walk. Ferry to other areas is less than that! Restaurants all within walking distance. Front desk staff was very helpful. Daily breakfast was very good and staff ready for your Expresso, cappuccino or latte order. Room was small but expected. Patio to sea view a treat! Definitely would stay again. "

"Nice hotel close to the beach and marina. Rooms were nice, clean and has an amazing shower. Bed was a bit hard for my liking but everything else was great. Breakfast was only 12 euros a person and had a nice variety. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the excelsior palace. Beautiful hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful and always on hand. We arrived and were showed to our rooms with a gift waiting for us on arrival. Breakfast was great aswell. I wouldn’t say the rooms were soundproof. We could hear our neighbour on the phone and the people above but thankfully I already were ear plugs at night. The only thing I would suggest changing would be the paper cups in the room with the kettle. For a 5 star hotel I would really expect ceramic mugs. we would definitely reccomend staying here and would stay again. "
