This property had a good amount of space, a smart design, and a lovely view, although the photo posted was not the same as the actual space. My main issue when I stayed there was that the hot water didnt work but sadly when I reached out to the company, they sent someone in to check that the water heater was on and set to maximum temp(which I had done and told them about in my query), after checking that, no matter how much I pleaded that the water output was not actually hot despite what the machine said, they insisted that the water heater was set properly and therefore it should work. They refused to offer any other solution, to confirm the temperature of the water as it came out, or to accept that there was an issue they needed to attempt to fix. I spent my entire time there showering with tepid water, which was quite unpleasant since it was cool in Bogota. Unless you are prepared to shower without hot water I would not recommend this stay.

There are better options in Bogota & better hosts

Unhelpful hosts: - Room not as advertised, hosts did nothing to rectify the situation despite having other rooms available. Hotels.com stepped in and helped. - No cleaning of the room provided despite a 28 day stay. I was told I had to pay extra. I have never experienced this before for a month-long stay, usually it is every 10 or 14 days. Despite the issues above with the room description, they refused to clean my room even once during my stay without payment. Pros: View of mountains Clean Well appointed kitchen Decent wifi Well designed space A little art on the walls and colour so not a white box Lighting was better/softer than many places Cons: Hosts Central location but a somewhat grubby area Hot water pressure negligible Every time the lift stopped at a floor you could hear it beep (not just this floor, all the other floors - super annoying) and I wasn't even in front of it New building but poorly/cheaply constructed - thin walls, windows didn't close correctly - see gap in window in photo Weekend noise from nearby bar + people outside on street to 3am Slept with white noise on tv and earplugs

The staff were very friendly and kind and always cater to our needs especially traveling with a small child. They gave us a super early checking and were very kind in their communications. I felt safe walking in and out of the building.
