iECHIE: Road to Light — Three Floors of Hidden History in La Candelaria
iECHIE: The Way to Light is a colonial architectural secret hidden in the heart of Bogotá. Distributed over three independent levels that rise under impressive wooden beam ceilings and are connected by a beautiful spiral staircase, this house is designed for those who love to discover spaces with soul.
    El Espacio
Each level of the house is a different chapter that reveals itself at your own pace:
The First Level - Meeting and Outdoors:
A vibrant social space that integrates a fully equipped kitchen with a bar for 6 people and a comfortable living room with a full bathroom. The great secret of this plant is its direct access to a lush colonial cobblestone courtyard. Guarded by an ancient historic stone fountain and surrounded by greenery, it's the perfect spot to breathe the morning air in absolute privacy.
The Second Level - The Versatile Shelter:
Going up the spiral stairs, the space opens up to a floor dedicated to tranquility with beautiful wood finishes. It has a separate bedroom and a cozy seating area with TV and book shelves that invite you to pause the day. This level extends to a covered balcony that hides the house's favorite disconnect corner, ideal for losing track of time.
The Third Level - The Sanctuary on High:
Reserved exclusively for privacy and absolute relaxation. The master bedroom is sheltered by the sloping roof structure, offering an extremely romantic atmosphere, a full en-suite bathroom with rustic finishes and a unique handmade tub. Its greatest treasure is hidden when you open the windows of its private covered balcony: a unique and moving perspective that you will only understand when you sit there at sunset.
    Other aspects to highlight
Architecture and Conservation: The property preserves corners steeped in nostalgia, including traditional stone fireplaces and the fountain in the lower courtyard. Nowadays they are preserved as valuable decorative pieces and testimonies of the colonial past (for reasons of security and architectural preservation, they are not allowed to light fire or water flow).
Bogota at your feet: You are in a truly privileged location. You only need to walk through the door to find yourself a few steps away from the country's most important museums, historic squares and the best local cuisine.
There are corners and perspectives that photos can't capture. We look forward to seeing you soon at iECHIE!!

You will have private and exclusive access to the three interior levels that make up our apartment, completely designed for your comfort and relaxation.

These magical outdoor patios are harmoniously shared with 9 other apartments in the area, offering you the opportunity to breathe the morning air in an authentic community environment, quiet and steeped in history, before returning to the total privacy of your three-story retreat.
