The rooms are very clean. The shower is really nice. It has a hot tub, which is becoming less than less common. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

They were doing renovations, which meant that there was very limited parking, a lot of dust, and we had to go to the adjacent hotel for breakfast. Our room and the pool/hot tub were fine.

We thought the Lamplighter Inn was an excellent, economical choice for our stay in Missoula. We travel through Missoula often on our way to Sandpoint, Idaho for a grandkid fix, and the Lampligher has earned our patronage. We found the Inn to be clean, well equipped with many amenities (plenty of outlets & USB for our cPAPS & electronic needs), pleasant staff, good breakfast, and comfortable beds. Our biggest kudo was the $10 charge for our traveling companion! We have an 8lb., clean, well-groomed, house broken, hypoallergenic, Schipoo. Our companion has less impact on the cleaning of a room than we do! It's always irked me that motels say they are "pet friendly", and than charge me $25-50, or more, for the "friendliness"! It's the same cost to us as it is for Great Dane owner! Real fair! So, thanks Lamplighter for keeping your pet friendliness at least reasonable to a couple of fixed income seniors.

Returning home from family reunion. Stopped in Boise for the evening, had a great stay, refreshing hotel, pleasing staff. Would recommend this hotel for those looking for good value.

Great overall hotel with excellent staff!

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Clean, comfortable and affordable. Breakfast food and drink options are plentiful and of good quality. Would definitely stay again.

The property was under renovation, I did not know this when I made my reservation. The pool area was closed due to the renovations but you did have the option of using the hotel next doors pool. The room was very spacious and nice. My pillow was way to full/firm, requested a different pillow and they brought me one within 10 minutes. The breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Acceptable stay

This hotel is very convenient to the Boise airport. In Feb 2025, an uber to downtown cost about $10. The airport shuttle back to the airport runs once/hour and was fine. The free breakfast was basic but good. The hotel is a bit run-down, with frayed carpets in the room and an extremely frayed armchair. The hotel is reporting that they are in the midsts of renovations.
