Beautiful hotel

Beautiful hotel, lovely surroundings, and outstanding service. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant in front of an open fire. the breakfast was really good. The room was a little chilly. We will be back when the weather is better to take in the lovely surroundings.

Hotel is right on a lake in the German Countryside. It has a lakehouse feel and would be perfect for a romantic retreat. I stayed on business. The room was clean and spacious for the very reasonable price. Breakfasts were wonderful and thier applecrisp was a little piece of my childhood delivered on a plate.

Good hotel - terrible food

The hotel is remote but very nice and the room was clean. Old fashioned bathroom ever they told us we were upgraded. The disappointing thing was the restaurant. Only one course which was fine but here it comes: the food was terrible. Warmed up string beans from a can, the mushrooms in the souce also canned and fried potatoes from yesterday that were mashed and warmed up I guess in the micro. The taste was equal zero. Canteen food tastes much better.
