It was also very clean and we appreciated being able to park behind the house since we had a car full of stuff as we were stopping in Wilmington on our way further south. We loved that it was just a short walk to the River Walk where you can find a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops. The neighborhood is full of gorgeous, older homes with some spectacular gardens. "Host was nice. We enjoyed our stay. Only thing negative I'd say is that I wasn't aware of the second bathroom not being in the home, but in the shed. The guys didn't seem to care. It was a nice get away to unplug and enjoy the beach for the weekend. We did visit the pier down the road, but unfortunately our schedule didn't allow us to see the gorgeous sunrise or sunset on the water."

No basics were provided; no tp(ok 1 roll), dishwasher detergent, dish soap, hot pads, kitchen towels and cloths, hand soap. Management company never sent check in instructions. "This is a great place to rent for a trip. We had 6 in our party and we think the space is right for a group that size. It is a very short walk to the beach access and only a 9 minute walk to the boardwalk! Don’t be deterred that this is not a full house rental! We had a great stay. My only advice is if you are going to cook during your stay instead of going out, bring a sharp set of knives or a knife sharpener. We loved this bungalow!"

"This was our first visit to Holden Beach. The house was exactly as pictured except the owner has added some very comfortable outdoor seating on the deck. We spent mornings and evenings sitting outside watching and listening to the ocean. The location was perfect for us - close to restaurants (I highly recommend Mermaids Island Grill) and Sunset Slush (Italian Ice) within a 3 minute drive along with a Public Beach access diagonally across from the driveway.
