"This hotel was perfect for a long layover (48 hours) in Seoul. Really walkable to lots of local restaurants and easy to get to some of the main tourist attractions in Seoul. Great value for money! My main issue with the hotel was the design of the bathroom. There is no shower curtain/glass, so water inevitably splashes out. The floor tiles are extremely slippery once even a little wet. There are caution signs in the bathroom and one pair of adult rubber slides were provided for anti slip assistance, but it was really suboptimal for a family of 2. Luckily we had packed Crocs for my daughter for the beach portion of our holiday, so washed those off and had her wear those around the bathroom. Despite the place being clean and convenient, I wouldn’t recommend if you’re elderly, travelling with young children or otherwise has mobility limitations because of the bathroom. Just not worth the extra stress! "

"Despite not being in central area,This an excellent hotel close to major sites and plenty of shops and restaurants. Great value for the price if you are able to book early. Hotel itself is classy without being overly opulent. Highly recommend."

"Had a great stay at LeMong hotel. The vibes and decor made it a comfortable experience. There was also coffee/tea and water available at the lobby 24/7. The location was a big plus for me. Many sites are walkable within 15-20 mins like Myeongdong, Insadong, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gwangnam"

"Hotel seems to be newly constructed. I guess less than 6 years judging from the elevator, newer bidet toilets, good hot temperature and good pressure showers and air conditioning units. For breakfast, they will print you breakfast vouchers with an assigned date. I assumed all the vouchers were the same and accidentally handed the staff a voucher a later date. Tip carefully read or at least use camera translation on your phone to translate using the washing machine and microwave."

"Well located hotel for the area a few minutes to a buzzing area for food and drink. Close to the underground for easy access to the city and an easy walk to the Palace. One thing to note is check-in is 6pm and you are charged to leave your bags or if you want to access your room any earlier. Coming off a long international flight this is annoying. The room was fine with a mini-fridge and tv with streaming channels. "

"The only reason I did not give a 5 star was that the room smelled musty when coming back from a long day away, we figured it was because the aircon was on automatic and since we were gone most of the day, it was off. Took us a while to figure out the aircon from being turn off automatically when we were gone and throughout the night, The curtains had a little mold on the bottom, I'm assuming was based on the aircon issue. Other than that, it was pretty clean elsewhere, room size was good for 4 adults, and location was ideal for the elderly in our group. Great location on Myeongdong street and close to the train station."

"The staff was exceptional. I left my phone in a taxi and they helped me recover it. Since I don’t speak Korean, they helped translate and also made sure I didn’t get taken advantage of by making sure I paid only a reasonable amount as a return fee (part of Uber’s policy). The hotel location was very convenient. Ikseon Hanok Village is across the small street/way with its cute restaurants, cafes and shops. Insa-dong, palaces, subway, stores are all a short walk. All very valuable since I was with my 87 year old mother who needed naps. This allowed me to stay occupied and be nearby. The room was very clean. Booking through Expedia put us in a “premium” room on Floor 10 which has AC that you can adjust so no AC issues for us as others reported. If adjusting AC is important, make sure you book the premium room. I understood before the trip that hotel rooms in Korea are much smaller than in U.S. so my expectations were adjusted. Expect limited space for clothes and living out of suitcase which I usually do anyway. Shower and bathroom are small but very functional. The space reminds me of the efficiency of a cruise cabin."
