"Good position on the edge of the town so it is quiet yet convenient. Room well appointed. Pool area is nice and tranquil. Breakfast was very poor with little choice unless you like cakes. We had to go out of our way to get coffee. Virtually no hot breakfast, no tomatoes or salad and almost no fresh produce. The rooftop terrace no longer exists. It is now a solar panel array. Bikes are more expensive than elsewhere and we were quoted 14 euros from 3pm for the rest of the day. Shuttle is expensive and so doesn’t seem to get used. 4 euros each to the port but should be free."

"What a GEM. Don't let the 'Jaba the Hut' entry door scare you, press the button on the center door and be prepared to arrive into a jewel. Frederica at reception quickly made us welcomed, and provided an easy check in and personal guide to the room. The area in front of the room is fantastic, overlooking the pool. The room interior spectacular, and you can even see the sunset from the area in front of the breakfast area. The breakfast was the best we experienced while in Sicily for variety. Grazie Villa Carlo, Isabella e Luigi"

"Lovely stay here during July when it was very hot. Pool vibe was lovely and chilled and the hotel didn’t feel too busy. It’s a little far from the town centre to walk, but highly recommend renting the hotel bikes as it’s a lovely cycle across the island."

"Ideal si viajas en automóvil, tiene un parking (abierto y gratuito) a 20 mts del hotel como para 20 autos aprox. Nosotros fuimos en agosto y siempre hubo espacio. No está tan cerca del área comercial, aunque si es caminable, con 39 grados de calor no se hace muy amable, el hotel cuenta con una Van q te lleva y trae previa coordinación. La ubicacion es a la entrada de la ciudad por lo q es fácil luego hacer los paseos a otras playas. El aire acondicionado de la pieza funciona bien, las ventanas tienen postigo y oscurece bien. Desayuno es muy bueno preparado con cariño y el personal muy amable."
