"I grew up visiting Cuchara. My parents rented various places for weeks and months. Now we rent and this time took our kids and grandkids. Funny but by accident one of my nephews and his family were visiting at the same time. Basically our whole family enjoys the area."

"The condo was nice & had a deck to sit outside and bench on porch! The condo was well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms. Beds & bedding was good! This condo had West wall windows (floor to roof) and it was very hot inside in afternoon and evening! Bedrooms were hot too! Good trip!"

"Place is pretty basic. Not enough counter space to cook. Oven very dirty. Need chairs in living room. No dish washing soap. Looks like a new owner that has just put in basic necessities. Fireplace was great although no matches or fire starter. Place was not prepared for cold weather."

"It's the second time we've stayed at Aspen Leaf (a different condo). It's quiet with cute chalets. The owner responded very promptly when we had a small issue with the front door lock. IF you enjoy hiking, there's a trailhead right behind the condo. We plan to stay again!"

"I didn’t read the instructions well enough and it allowed smoking and we don’t smoke. We just opened windows and managed. But over all enjoyed our stay. Very easy to get in and the owners didn’t expect much before we left so easy to pack up and leave. Had everything we needed for the weekend. "

"2nd vacation in a row we've stayed at this location. Organized and very clean with a respectable breakfast. If you decide to walk around the grounds, trash has gathered in the outlying areas just beyond the manicured lawn. "
