"Our family of four (2 year old; 8 year old) drove 2.5 hours one way to get there and when i got there they told me that they were closed! I then drove 2.5 hours back home. Very dosapointed that they did not have the reservation through expedia. I understand that it was during the province was re-opening for Covid19, but why was the property advertising through expedia? "We would love to give a better review of the property, it seems like it could be charming for a three star hotel and the property itself has lovely flowers this time of year. But there was nobody there when we checked in, our room was not clean when we arrived, with dirty rags on the floor and the shower looking like it had seen better days. The room was also not cleaned DURING our stay, even when we called to ask, the elderly woman at the check-in desk said there was nothing she could do about it and made us retrieve our own towels. In terms of the included breakfast, the staff neglected to remove allergens from our plate, even when asked. Though everybody seemed nice, the level of service was certainly not befitting $800 for two nights. I would only recommend seeing if you’re paying $150 a night or less."

"When booking through Expedia, the reservation and payment goes to the owner of the property, but in order for the reservation to be identified in the property system, the owner must manually input it - and this is the problem. The owner took my money, confirmed the reservation but never input it - so the staff at the property had no record of my reservation. Thanks to Expedia for fixing this, and I got a free upgrade. My recommendation for anyone making a reservation here, call the property after receiving confirmation from Expedia and make sure everything is correct in their system."
