If the hustle & bustle of busy Cologne gets to be too much, the lovely town of Königswinter on the banks of the Rhine may prove a relaxing alternative. Das Hotel Krone is in the centre of town about a 5 minute walk from the train station. I’ve stayed here before and been very happy. But, it’s under new management/ownership now and the quality of the experience has increased a lot. The place is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are wonderful.

Schönes kleines Hotel in einer sehr gute Lage. 2 Gehminuten zum Rhein, 8 Gehminuten vom Bf entfernt. Vegetarische Frühstück wurde immer frisch aufgetischt und man konnte mehr von allem haben.

Wir waren bereits das 3. Mal seit dem Inhaberwechsel in der Krone und es war wie immer hervorragend. Sehr freundliches Personal und ein sehr gemütliches Haus. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist vegan und daher gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber wir wussten ja worauf worauf uns einlassen ;) Alternativ kann man auch einfach ohne Frühstück buchen, schließlich verhungert man in der Altstadt nicht. Wir kommen wieder :)

Da ich geschäftlich da war und wirklich nur eine Übernachtung benötigt habe, war es für mich völlig ausreichend. Auch für den Abend befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe Restaurant bei denen man gut bewirtet wird.

Gerne wieder. Super Frühstück.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel ruhig in der Fußgängerzone gelegen. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück hat seine Preis aber den ist es wert. Es ist ein Veganes Gänge Menü, von Herzhaft bis Süß alles dabei. Ich habe noch nie so gut und ausgiebig im Hotel gefrühstückt. Gerne wieder.

Das Hotel habe ich wegen der zentralen Lage und guten Bewertungen bezüglich Unterkunft und Frühstück ausgesucht, die schönsten Ziele sind super zu Fuß erreichbar, der Rhein in direkter Nähe. In der direkten Umgebung eine sehr gute Restaurant-Auswahl. Da ich allein unterwegs war, war es sehr angenehm, abends nicht lange laufen zu müssen. Mega toller Service und sehr persönliche Betreuung durch das Team vor Ort. Das Hotel liegt zwar in der Fußgängerzone, es gibt jedoch Parkmöglichkeiten mit kurzem Fußweg und sehr moderaten Preisen.Das Frühstück hat mir sehr gut gefallen, es war sehr reichhaltig und vor allem mega lecker. Das Zimmer war super ausgestattet, alles was ich brauchte, war da. Am besten war das Bett, noch nie habe ich woanders so gut geschlafen. Ich komme definitiv wieder!
