"We had a huge king room with views of the water and a nice comfortable bed. Be sure to request ice when you check in, as there isn't a machine and there isn't always someone at the reception desk. We had a nice continental breakfast (included) and gluten free bread is available."

"The room was spacious, clean and had a nice large bathroom. There was a balcony to sit out on which we did not use due to the weather. The staff were friendly and helpful and it’s in a good location close to restaurants. Also the continental breakfast was excellent."

"The Blackfin cottage is a very cute 2bedroom cottage with windows and a deck overlooking the bay on Rocky Harbour. Its well equipped kitchen had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. It was easy driving distance to many walking trails in the area as well as boat tours. Would definitely recommend this property for 2-4 people."

"Lovely private cottage completely finished in knotty pine. Scrupulously clean throughout. Nice large bathroom with great shower. Lots of fluffy towels. Comfortable king sized bed with good pillows. Nice sitting area with TV and couch and chair. The only suggestion is that the good sized fridge lacked ice cube trays and an ice bucket. Also if you visit in hot months (do they exist in Newfoundland?) the windows open to the Main Street so you might have some traffic noise that was no issue for us in September."

"Absolutely stunning place to stay overlooking Bonne Bay with the family. Very clean, beds were comfy and all amenities you could ever need was available. Hosts were always available and very helpful in providing information for things to see and do in the area (lots of beautiful hiking trails). A definite must stay for anyone travelling to Woody Point. Thank you so much Shawn and Sharon for a wonderful summer in your chalet"

"The rooms and hotel were very clean. I think each room has either a deck or a patio. The staff were helpful and accommodating. It was great having the pub in the hotel. I believe the pub has entertainment every night. We had so much fun at Anchors Aweigh and the kitchen party."
