"This beautifully restored home reminded me of my mamaw’s home and filled my husband and I with warm childhood memories. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. We felt safe. The location was great! We had a great time exploring all around the area. It’s close to many day trip options like Jasper and Boxley Valley! The hot tub was the reason we chose it originally and it was great but the house was even better than expected. We would stay here again if we return to the area. "

"Super easy check in/check out. The bed mattresses seemed to each have slightly different degrees of firmness, which was perfect for us as we all have different preferences there. Kitchen had good selection of coffee/cocoa/tea - great for the chilly mornings. Nice quiet street, yet right close to restaurants and shopping. "

"If you want to stay somewhere private with all the amenities and a clear view of the night sky then it’s Dome House on Bear Creek! From the exterior of the house to every detail when you walk in, you might never want to leave. Not only is it a unique home but it comes with anything one needs on vacation from the hot tub, fire pit, grills, and privacy but the hosts are meticulous, caring, gracious and always very prompt when replying to their guests. The house was clean and spacious with detail paid to the smallest convenience. We have traveled a lot and this was everyone’s favorite place we have stayed. We spent 4 nights in early January and plan to return for a stay in springtime or early autumn to explore more outdoors and do some fishing as Dome House is now our destination at least once a year. The check in and check out were simple, driving directions were easy to follow and we wanted for nothing the entire stay. All five of us (2 adults, 3 children) voted and this was everyone’s favorite getaway spot. You won’t find a more gracious or accommodating host and the house is a gem you won’t find anywhere else."
