Mountain views for miles! Great Location between Boone and Blowing Rock!

Mountain home approx. 1900 sq ft. with a beautiful mountain view; within 10 minutes of App Ski Mountain, area Blue Ridge Parkway hiking; The Blowing Rock, Appalachian State University, Downtown Blowing Rock, shopping, dining, and more. Perfectly located in a quiet, residential setting with lots of space. Enjoy the fire pit, two-level deck, and large yard. This is our family’s happy place and we love to share it with others who are visiting the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and we hope they will enjoy it as much as we do.

NOTE: This is a family home we rent out for special occasions in the area, such as holidays, ASU Parents’ Weekend and Homecoming, student move-in weekend, and graduation. Other dates are by request only. Contact us for date-specific requests if dates you wish to book are unavailable.

Gorgeous home & amazing views

This is a lovely home. We found the property to be clean, well maintained, and super relaxing. Our favorite feature is the back porch with absolutely beautiful, long-range mountain views. While enjoying a cup of coffee, we watched both a hummingbird & a deer exploring the beautiful backyard. The location was perfect for our needs, just a few miles from ASU, shopping, and the greenway. The owners are fantastic, very responsive. We’ll definitely return.

Breathtaking views and peaceful stay!

Overall the house was incredible. Parking was a little difficult but once we got outside lights on it was fine. The only small problem was the tv hot spot was a little confusing but once we got it figured out ok ( Who wants to watch tv in this place anyway...but did have elderly person who did not understand how it worked) But the space and views made it so nice and enjoyable. Our family had such a great time and the few problems we had got addressed and it was fabulous - will go again to same place. They have very convenient bathroom on main floor and place to wash clothes and beautiful master with great bathroom!. The deck and firepit made it all so lovely and enjoyable. Well worth the cost and will be gong back!!

Stunning view in the mountains!

My family and I had an amazing time at this property. While parking at the property was a little challenging with 3 cars and it being very steep, it was still manageable. The house was great and the view from the living room windows/back deck were breath taking at all hours of the day and night! The ad originally said that the cabin could accommodate 8 but it was really 6 but we made it work. The property had everything we needed and more to make our trip great. The property is located right between Blowing Rock attractions and Boone which was great. We communicated with the owners a few times throughout the trip and they were fast to respond. Unfortunately the house key went missing during an outing but the owners were quick to respond to my inquiry and very nice about it; in the future, I would suggest electric (keyless) locks for renting purposes. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again if we're back in the area.

Great House with Better View

House is great overall and the host was easy to communicate with. The location is ideal for Boone and Blowing Rock and the views were incredible. We had everything we needed and the beds were comfy! The only thing I would change would be the wifi/cable setup. I would definitely recommend staying here.
