Needed to get down the road late at night. Caught myself drifting and decided I needed to stop. This place was there right when and where I needed it. Basically 1/4 mile from the main road. Couldn't have been more perfect unless breakfast was served at 5 am but I understand.

The room was clean and comfortable. One guest commented he thought it was one of the better super 8’s he had stayed in. Breakfast options were almost non-existent, but I’d stay there again.

Bugs in the corners, no coffee pot, ac unit was taped together, bathroom a huge chunk of of paint and dry wall coming down. I have pictures! If you would like to see. I know the rooms are $100.00 per night but no excuse for not mainting and cleaning.

Aside from the person working 3rd shift, the manager was thoroughly unhelpful. And he didn't let the woman with him speak hardly at all. One of the sheets had a cigarette burn, the blow dryer looked old enough to start a fire, and the room itself was absolutely disgusting. The bedding was especially bad, despite claims of them washing it.

They were defrosting refrigerator of our room. Frig stuffed with towels. We mentioned this was bothersome and they said they could move us but the asked if we had used the bathroom and acted that if we had it would need to be recleaned so we never moved. Came back later to find water all over floor and they gave us towels to clean it up ourselves.

Was in town for a concert in Ames. Room was good, clean. We didn't have breakfast so I cant comment on that, however we were down before 9 am and didn't see any coffee anywhere, pots aren't in the room either which is why I gave that 2 stars.

The bad: Parking lot was icy & treacherous. Beds were lumpy & uncomfortable. Breakfast...toaster but no bread/bagels. Cereal but no milk. 2 snack cake options. The good: staff was pleasant professional, rooms were clean. Not worth $100/night

Really I loved my room and there were no unexpected charges at check in (which I was fearful of on a tight budget). Staff were kind and helpful. I felt safe and comfortable, and I needed that because I'd just been put on antibiotics that morning for a severe tooth infection. Breakfast was very limited, but they did have it. Overall, I would highly recommend it.
