"We booked this property on a mission to go to Emerald Hollow Mine. The cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs. Everyone kept saying it was one of the best stocked rentals we've been to. Plenty of seasonings which is a rare find with rentals! We enjoyed the porch and firepit. Would definitely rent again when we go back!"

"Very nice property, nice to have 2 separate bed/bath for 2 couples. Nice big common spaces with small kitchen and small bathroom upstairs. Wouldn’t plan to do large meals in the kitchen but perfect for breakfast prep. The owners are AMAZING and very responsive. Couldn’t ask for more. We VERY much enjoyed the central location. It was a lovely weekend with friends."

It provided a very relaxing and restful place to stay after our tiring days activities. Sharon was easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. "The open concept kitchen-living-dining was perfect for our family gathering. The house appeared to be less than 5 years old and is a perfect “movie like” neighborhood. They also decorated it for Christmas with a tree and a wreath along with a few pieces here and there made our Christmas to New Year’s Eve celebration even homier. Our concerns were minor: have 2 sets of towels for all 8 guests, add enough plates, cups, mugs, salad plates and silverware for 12, add kitchen towels, add a pizza...

"For two people this is a perfect place to stay for a getaway! Near Elkin and many wineries and also Stone Mountain. Very quiet and relaxing. We loved sitting on the porch - very peaceful in the morning and the evening! The cabin is the perfect size for two people and each space much more than adequate. The shower is beautiful!
