"Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. "Nice home on quiet street in Elkin. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Check in process was very easy. Home had lots of comfortable furniture and I would book it again."

"My husband and I reached new levels of relaxation during our weekend getaway! We spent most of our time enjoying the porch and the views. The bed was cozy and the shower was excellent. Everything was clean and comfortable. We visited a few vineyards and downtown Elkin. Hosts were very responsive to questions. 10/10 Highly recommend!"

"Had a great time! My only concern was checking in and our code was incorrect. There was a nice man there that took care of us, but I wasn't sure at the beginning if he really worked there. I wonder if name tags for employees would be a good thing. That said, the entire staff was very professional and courteous."

"The place is clean and beautiful, however the noise level was high. We were on the first floor. We could hear the footsteps of people above us and at one point a group came home late at night and woke us all up. The high vaulted ceilings echos the noise level. The host was attentive, the location was perfect close to the Raffaldini Vineyards and right in downtown Elkin. The price was good."
