"We stayed in an overwater villa with a pool and looking directly at Mount Otemanu on the front row.
I couldn’t fault the accomodation. Spectacular views, Clean modern and well designed villa. Super comfy bed, pillows and furniture in the villa. A huge viewing window for looking into the water and every night 3 stingrays would come and swim under the window. Amazing
This should be on your bucket list of to do’s in life. It’s not cheap but worth every penny. Simply paradise. Staff are fantastic and any issues are immediately rectified. Bora Bora is truly heaven on earth. "

"Tiare met us at the dock when we arrived. We had arranged to rent a car from them for 9000fp/day. She showed us around the town a little bit to point out where to get groceries, where the bank was. Before handing over the keys to the car, we dropped her off at her home a short distance from town. Jackfruit were in season and she had some ripe ones on her property so she gave us one. She also provided a phone with a local number we could use to contact her or Nir if needed. The drive from the town to the property took about 20min.
The place was amazing. It was rather windy most of the days but inside the room, you couldn't tell and road traffic was barely noticeable. Looking over the balcony, we could see numerous fish but the small shark we saw stopped my wife from going in the water. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were decent. The air conditioning worked great and the place was clean, welcoming and well laid out. The water pressure was strong and the hot water was hot. There was some snorkeling equipment available which was well used but functional. The toilet paper was even better than that providing in most places. There was a Nespresso coffee maker which my wife was grateful for.
There was a small washing machine with a clothes line outside on the balcony. The only thing that would have been nice to have been provided were a few laundry pods."

An unforgettable stay at Rohotu Fare – a place built by a dreamer
Rohotu Fare is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful, peaceful, and beautifully connected to nature. The setting is stunning, the accommodation is warm and comfortable, and every small detail reflects vision, care and intention.
What truly made this experience extraordinary was meeting Nir, the owner. Nir is a genuine dreamer - passionate, inspiring, and deeply connected to the land and the vision behind Rohotu Fare. Talking with him added a whole new dimension to our stay. You don’t just feel hosted; you feel welcomed into a story, a philosophy, and a dream that’s being lived out with heart.
This is the kind of place you come to slow down, reconnect, and feel inspired—by nature, by simplicity, and by people who follow their dreams. Rohotu Fare exceeded all expectations, and I would return in a heartbeat.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for something authentic, meaningful, and truly special. 🌿✨"
"A bit far from the ferry and main spots, so not ideal if you don’t drive or cycle. My room had an amazing view of Mount Otemanu, though there was a slight damp smell. The receptionist was incredibly helpful, especially after I injured myself falling off one of their bikes, and she arranged taxis for my arrival and departure. Great option if you’re out all day on tours and excursions."
