"Clean room and excellent staff"

"Staff were not that inviting. Had to wait past the check in time to check in. No air conditioning."

"Thank you MBLC for a wonderful stay. Our room was wonderful and the staff was very attentive. The restaurant was nice as well. We very much enjoyed the pool area. Our bed was very comfortable. And the room was beautiful! A couple of things that would make it a five star for me was. Getting into the hotel was a bit tricky and confusing. Both with a car and walking in. The restaurant entrance looks like the front door. The front door looks like the restaurant entrance. There is a very strong perfume smell throughout the hotel. Folks with allergies may find this to be a problem. I know I did. Also the robes and slippers did not fit a 6’2” person. With all said and done. We enjoyed our stay… All the best!"

"Excellent location....down a small lane but felt safe enough. Staff could not have been nicer. Rooms are well equipped as an aprthotel. However the bed was only accessible from the one side as the other side was against the wall, so it was either clamber over each other or shuffle down the bed. Not ideal. Also 9am the cleaning started and the slabs on the walkways made for a ver loud cleaning trolley which woke us up every morning. Not ideal. The bed was v comfortable tho. "

"Our stay at Hotel Grand Francais was fantastic. One of the most underrated elements was that there was an amazing cocktail bar associated with the Hotel that was standout. The location felt very secure, was convenient to a ton of restaurants. The room was very clean and service was great. The breakfast spread was also delicious. Cafes and restaurants seemed to open quite late, so would recommend taking advantage of the breakfast. Would absolutely stay again when in Bordeaux!"

"Nice hotel in the heart of Chartrons, wonderful staff (that was very proficient in English) & close to everything in Bordeaux. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & wouldn’t hesitate to come back. This is city that is meant to be walked, & one couldn’t ask for a better home base to start from daily. Bring your best sneakers & go enjoy this gem in SW France. *cheat code* pay for the daily breakfast…. you can pick from the entire menu & have it served daily, in bed, & no extra charge! *And don’t miss the rooftop bar. Phenomenal views up there of the entire city w/ a full menu of drinks."
