Great hotel, the best Novotel I have stayed in. Good bar + restaurant. Great transport links, tram station outside to get right into the city centre.

We stayed in Novotel Bordeaux Lac for 5 days and had a lovely time! Our room was comfortable and clean, the food at the hotel restaurant was very nice, the staff kind and helpful and our 9 year old son also enjoyed the games room which had an XBox and a bar football. Highly recommended!

Although we checked in online, we had to spend time at the front desk answering all kinds of useless questions. Key was inactivated at some point, did not get an explanation as to why, only that it could have been "demagnetized"..

Das Hotel wurde zwar mal renoviert, aber mehr schlecht als recht und es ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Umgebung ist schrecklich. Man kann nirgendwo spazieren gehen und der See daneben ist nicht zum Baden geeignet. Baden ist dort verboten, was aber nicht ersichtlich war als wir gebucht haben. Wenn man wenigstens ordentlich die Teppiche reinigen würde, wäre viel gewonnen. Das ganze Haus wirkt herunter gekommen.

1er chambre immonde, heureusement remplacée

J'avais demandé une chambre avec deux lits, ce que j'ai eut au début mais sale ; des morceaux de je ne sais quoi pat terre des traces blanches dans la douche, l'évier et sur le mur au dessus du lavabo, des boules noires sur le rideau, les lits mal fait avec une tâche énorme sur le bas de l'un des deux et une odeur absolument ignoble dans les toilettes qui embaumait la chambre entière dès que la porte était ouverte... aussi, pas de ftigo ni de coffre... Je n'aurai jamais imaginé pareils choses dans un novotel ou n'importe quel chambre à ce prix... La réceptionniste à d'abord voulue mètre un spray désodorisant qui n'a tenue pas même 3 secondes et m'a heureusement attribuée une autre chambre qui à défaut d'avoir 2 vrais lits (un lit et une mezzanine) était digne d'un novotel et de son prix et sentait le propre.

Expérience décevante

Quelle expérience décevante. Quand on paye une chambre exécutive vue lac, on ne s'attend pas à être placée au dessus de l'entrée/SORTIE de l'hôtel avec vue plongeante sur le coin fumeur et le parking où l'on peut participer dès 5H30 du matin à une parade de voyageurs rejoignant bruyamment leur car touristique: discussion sonore élevée, bruit des valises, mauvaise insonorisation. Je regarde comme une fleur de bon matin qu'en plus, ma chambre était bien vue lac mais quelle arnaque! Coutumière des hôtels et particulièrement 4* et NOVOTEL, j'ai pris peur lorsque j'ai vu la mauvaise note pour le resto, donc sans hésitation, j'ai préféré dîner ailleurs. Un mini bar non contrôlé par le personnel de chambre car bouteille d'eau déjà entamée donc j'ai du me diriger à la réception pour réclamer une bouteille fermée, neuve ! Pas de mouchoirs en chambre... pas de pantoufles et peignoirs dans la chambre de ma collègue, exécutive aussi, vasque de la salle de bain nettoyée approximativement. petit bonus: la photo est prise à 6H30 DU MATIN. À fuir. Je fais des NOVOTEL mais je ne reviendrai pas ici! J'avais simplement besoin de dormir, je n'étais pas dans ce car de touristes à flâner pour la journée.... Ps: attendez vous à un défilé de bon matin si vous voyez stationner des cars sur le parking!! Pas qualitatif. Et surtout, un responsable qui ne vous rappelle même pas!
