My partner and I were passing thru and stayed here for one evening. Out of all of the places we stayed this one was one our favourites. It was just so cozy and unique. Our check in was simple, we were not greeted by staff but were given easy instructions. We stayed in one of the trucks. The room was small very small.. but it was a fun and unique experience and fine for an evening. We did notice many other rooms that were bigger but we really wanted to stay in the truck! We also had our own private bathroom which is always a plus. What we really liked about this property was its restaurant! You have to take off your shoes when entering but wow, it was just a great atmosphere. Our server was so friendly and kind, he even offered us fresh tomatoes to try straight from the garden. They have cozy sitting spaces, I noticed a dart board, they even have a really cool and unique pool located outside. Breakfast was included. Overall this was a great find and a fun stay. I do recommend this place if you’re considering. Great for solo travellers, partners, groups and families. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

When j arrived the door to my private outdoor room was open and I struggled with the key pads, especially in the rain. My introduction to the place was brief and not warm and welcoming as all the other places I stayed at were. I had one of the truck rooms which was fine & cute but I could not get warm water. I either had freezing cold or scalding hot water. The owner was not helpful in helping me figure this out and didn’t understand that I had one or the other. She thought I just had cold water because I was at the end of the truck and asked if I wanted to shower elsewhere but didn’t follow through on where elsewhere was. When I sat for dinner the one night I ate at the restaurant, she forgot about me for 20-30 minutes. Once my food was served, I never saw her again until I went to leave at which time I found that my shoes were missing. (You take your shoes off when you come into the main building.) By this time I didn’t care anymore. Customers she knew well and appeared to be regulars were attended to. I was not. The tables also didn’t get cleaned in between customers during the breakfast buffet so I cleaned my own which the owner saw me do but didn’t offer to come clean. The breakfast buffet on day 1 was okay, day 2 was much better and had more variety. I don’t like giving a bad review but I would not recommend this facility.
