"Just back from a lovely stay. Overall accommodation was great, amazing communal spaces and lovely grounds. Slightly inconvenient bedroom layout with the net across to one of the rooms, and the stairs with no bannister caused a little concern.Constructive feedback given to the host was around providing welcome information such as wifi, bins, pool cleaning etc, and departure information as we requested this once we arrived and the departure information was only given the day before we left. All in all, a fabulous place to stay for a family of 13 and we had a lovely time. Thank you!"

"La maison est très bien située dans un superbe environnement et le fait qu'elle soit dans une propriété fermée et sécurisée est un plus. On peut laisser certaines choses sans aucun risque. La propriété est également très calme.La maison offre tout le confort, grand réfrigérateur, congélateur, airco .... En fait tout le descriptif sur Abritel est juste, rien ne manque.La communication avec Simon, le propriétaire est impeccable. Il répond toujours très vite et vous donne en prime d'excellents conseils en matière de magasins dans la région.En résumé, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans une maison superbe où nous retournerons certainement car c'est une région que nous connaissons moins bien et en une semaine nous n'avons pas tout vu."

"Fantastic place for a relaxing holiday. The owner has thought of everything. It was so quiet, no traffic noise in the distance, just birdsong. The pool was very inviting, especially with the high temperatures we experienced. Lovely walks from the door, or cycle rides if you take bikes. Various large towns to visit, such as cognac and angouleme . Don’t miss aubterre sur dronne, one of our favourite beautiful villages.Thank you to nathalie for providing such a comfortable gite. We hope to see you again."

"A great house for a large party. We spent most of the time outside - our group (including six children aged 3 to 10) really enjoyed the pool, games room, toy house. The gas barbecue was really helpful and there was loads of cutlery, crockery etc. We also appreciated the generous provision of loo rolls, soap, cleaning stuff, towels etc."

"What a paradise! Lovely big room in a gorgeous house with a superb rural setting. The swimming pool area is just perfect! The owners couldn’t have been more helpful, and recommended a great restaurant by the estuary in the evening. Great breakfast ended a wonderful stay!"

"Really lovely farmhouse amidst the beautiful Charente countryside. Very spacious, clean and well equipped. There were only 5 of us so two bedrooms were unused but even if they had been there was plenty of room for everyone. Very comfy beds, great showers and very welcome air conditioning although the house stays remarkably cool even in heat dome conditions ! The gardens, pool and barn are particularly lovely. Wendy the host was super friendly and helpful! We will definitely visit again"

"Lovely traditional farmhouse in a beautiful, quiet rural setting and very dog-friendly. Sandrine is an excellent host, providing us with a delicious dinner and breakfast. Our room & bathroom were spotless and very comfortable. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be back!"
