It is a cottage so the furniture is comfortable but not newly updated. It was what we would expect when renting a cottage but also much neater and cleaner, which we were thrilled to find, especially for a place that does allow pets. The cottage was woodsy and quiet. "This place was perfect for our weekend stay with our 3 small dogs. We loved the beautiful lake view, the large deck with bbq and the firepit in the front yard. It is so hard to find a nice place that will allow us to bring our 3 small dogs. Peter was very friendly and accommodating and answered all our questions promptly. "Nice cottage 5 minutes from Newbury beach on Lake Sunapee. Ample parking space for a couple of cars. Nestled in a wooded area. Quiet and comfortable. Very clean and inviting. Bathrooms were modern and extremely clean. Hannaford grocery is 6 miles out. Wifi worked flawlessly. Sunapee Ski Resort is 15 minutes away. Overall, great experience. Excellent 4 season rental for 6."
