"We stayed in a comfort room. Great idea to keep some rooms pet free, which ours was.Good range of quality toiletries provided. The curtains were long, thick and lined, so not woken by the early morning light. We live in a village with very little light pollution so bright light in a morning can be a problem. Room has bluetooth speaker so able to play our own music, It also has a coffee maker. Dinner was excellent. Simple food brilliantly executed +served really hot. Breakfast next morning was...

My happy place
"I’ve stayed here a couple of times now - usually with my wee budgie. I stay in hotels weekly with work but nowhere comes close to Knoll. It’s very friendly here and it’s a very special place, full of character and history. The food has always been consistently good as has the service and cleanliness. Also super that they have a tiny golf course, tortoise and tennis courts which you can use and the outdoor pool is lovely in the summer "
