"We drove to Luray from NC to do some touring of the area, and Cottage by the Caverns was wonderful! The house was the perfect size, decorated beautifully, and we absolutely loved the fire pit area! The location was perfect to hop over to the caverns, and the neighborhood itself was quiet, although the traffic got a bit noisy, at times. "The cottage at Raven’s Roost was a perfect spot for our long weekend enjoying the Shenandoah Valley area. Ed and Betsy were excellent hosts that really take pride in making sure your stay is everything that it can be. We loved getting to play with the dogs everyday when we came back from hiking. Miss Katniss, the orange and white kitty, loved having our attention too. We would definitely stay again at Raven’s Roost for our next visit to the Valley."

"We stayed here when in Warrenton to care for a loved one. It was the perfect location between the hospital and town in a lovely quiet neighborhood. House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Chase was wonderful to work with and Mike (the owner) was very welcoming. Not only were we given bread, eggs, sausage at the beginning of our stay, we found some beautiful daffodils on our doorstep during our stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you!"

"My friends and I stayed here for a short gateway. The house was very nice but the cons are: 1. Mattress were uncomfortable because they were old and spring mattress. 2. Linens looked old,musty, and dirty. Some linens still had stains. 3. Pillows were old and thin. 4. Bathrooms were stained in blue and old. 5. Pictures are not up to date here on Vrbo such as the rooms and gaming room was unexpected but we enjoyed it. Overall, we had a great stay. Location is great, easy to find. We would go back...

"The cottage is in a great location close to breweries and wineries - it felt very centrally located to many options. The hosts were wonderful and you can tell they love and take care of the cottage.
